Meet Dr Eloise
BSc (Hons) PsychD
From as early as I can remember I wanted to become a doctor, driven by my fascination of the human mind and body and my desire to help others. It wasn’t until I completed Psychology at A Level that I began to consider the importance of supporting people with their mental health, and not just physical health. Following my Psychology BSc Hons degree at University College London I ventured to Sri Lanka to embark on a mental health volunteering placement, where I realised pursuing a career in Clinical Psychology was the way in which I could make a difference to other’s lives. Since 2017 I have worked within psychology teams in a variety of NHS services, and completed the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Surrey. Alongside my private practice, I continue to work within the NHS where I support children, adolescents, and their families.
I am passionate about helping others overcome their difficulties or learn more about themselves, and hope to provide a neuro-affirming diagnostic experience. I firmly believe that with the right support, people can make meaningful changes to create a more fulfilled life. In line with my ethos of taking a holistic approach to health, to maintain my own mental wellbeing, you can often find me relieving the stress of the day by moving my body in the gym, or on a long walk or short! run in nature or by the sea. When possible, I also enjoy cold dips/wild swimming and sauna sessions. The rest of my free time is spent nurturing my relationships with close friends and family and discovering new food spots, exploring different cuisines.
